Harold Dremin, Manager, Business Investment & Client Services and I had the privilege of attending the 2015 Canadian Aerospace Summit in Ottawa.
The summit was hosted by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) and was designed to bring industry experts and executives together to talk about where the industry is headed and what it means for Canadian aerospace companies, their suppliers and customers.
Industry experts shared their perspectives on the trends that are shaping the future of aerospace, and offered insight on how Canadian companies need to respond to those trends in order to grow their business and build the network and connections they need for success.
The theme of the summit was entitled, “The Sky is the Limit” reflecting both the breadth of opportunity that aerospace offers and the optimism that Canadian companies have for their industry.
The summit also featured networking opportunities and a trade show that allowed delegates the chance to learn more about the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry, and to develop new contacts. Overall, the summit was an excellent opportunity for us to understand the future of the industry, and share views on the best ways to achieve long-term growth.
Aerospace is a growing industry, and Mississauga ensures its involvement in the industry’s growth through the retention and expansion of existing companies, as well as the attraction of new businesses.
