What are my goals? What courses do I need for different college and university programs across Canada? What careers are in demand in Ontario? Students in Grade 7-12 can answer all of these questions and more using the myBlueprint.ca website provided by Peel District and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Boards.
To help students plan their education and career, myBlueprint provides interactive tools such as the:
- High School Planner to plan courses and track towards graduation
- Post-Secondary Planner to research skilled trades, colleges and universities
- Occupation Planner to discover essential information on careers
- Career Spectrum to learn more about your interests, learning styles, personality and occupation matches
Students use the website as a Ministry of Education Individual Pathways Plan (IPP), in career studies courses (e.g. GLC2O) and for high school course selections each year. As an online tool, myBlueprint.ca can also be used at home by parents/guardians to explore opportunities and support students with better education and career decisions.
