Baby Boomers, Generation Xers and Millennials: How do you fit in the workplace?
Take a moment and look around your workplace, what you may find is an interesting dynamic emerging. It’s a multi-generational culture that is forming with baby boomers (born 1946 to 1964), generation Xers (born 1960s to the early 1980s) and Millennials, also known as generation Y (born early 1980s to the early 2000s), that is creating a great opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and innovative thinking.
It is important to embrace change in the workplace, and appreciate what each generation has to contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of a working team. It is only to our benefit that we learn from each and adapt to an ever changing work environment.
