The winners have been announced for the 2017 Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch competition.
Make Your Pitch participants were tasked with submitting two-minute videos with a business pitch. More than 200 high school students from Ontario applied.
Two young entrepreneurs from Mississauga is amongst the list of winners!
Ben Jacobs and Geeth Varaday created Travale, a mobile app that connects homeowners, who need small jobs completed to students who are looking to complete work in their neighbourhood.
The pair, both Grade 11 students at St. Marcellinus Secondary School, were recognized for their business idea earlier this week at the Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch event.
This will be the fourth student from Mississauga to be a winner in this competition. One of the prizes is an automatic spot in the Summer Company 2017 program.
