Earlier this month, the 2nd Annual Express Employment Professional Hot Job Markets Labour Day Study ranked the City of Mississauga as second of all large cities (population of 500,000+) and tenth overall for job opportunities in Canada. The city boasted a total of 420,500 jobs in 2014.
As a net importer of employment to the city, Mississauga’s employment base grew by 5.1% over the 2003 to 2014 period. Employment is further forecasted to grow to 552,000 by 2041.
