Two students from Mississauga are among the 20 finalists who have been selected for the Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch competition, which is presented by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) and the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure. The competition invites high school students in Ontario to pitch their business ideas in a two-minute video. The Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre supports the promotion of this competition each year.
The 20 finalists are awarded a trip to Toronto to pitch their ideas live at OCE’s Discovery conference and showcase on May 9-10, 2016, in front of a panel of judges from the entrepreneur community.
Based on the live presentations, the judges will select six winners who are presented with reserved entry into the Summer Company Program, a Nymi Band from Nymi and a Muse brain-sensing headband by InteraXon.
