The MiWay Five Transit Service Plan is moving Mississauga’s transit system from a design that radiates from the city centre to a grid network that will allow for more frequent buses along main corridors.
Route 73 is the newest addition to service improvements for customers in the North East employment hub. The new Kamato Loop services Dixie Transitway Station, departing stops every 17 minutes during weekday rush hours. It will offer services west of the Airport Corporate Centre, south of Highway 401.
When it’s fully complete in 2017, the Mississauga Transitway will make it faster and easier to travel across the city, bypassing traffic congestion for a more reliable commute. Eight stations and 12 kilometres of the 18 kilometre transitway are now complete.
