Newcomer Centre of Peel (NCP) is a multi-service agency that assists the entire newcomer family in achieving settlement. With experience and expertise in English language training, business start-up and comprehensive settlement services, NCP offers training to support the Newcomer entrepreneur.
As part of their training and after they have finished their intensive 9 week journey with the Global Business Centre (MBEC) at NCP, these would-be entrepreneurs meet with the staff at Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre to see what community support is available for their new business. From this meeting with MBEC, clients are offered information and resources to take their business to the next level all in one convenient location. MBEC is a great example of welcoming spaces in the community to effectively engage newcomers through increased public awareness and create more opportunities to build community connections to support their new journey in business,
After meeting with MBEC, clients can-not believe what support is available for their business start-up in the local community.
Starting or growing a business? We can help!
MBEC is your central source for business information, resources, offering seminars, business plan reviews, consultations and guidance from business professionals.
Note, due to a strike by CUPE 1989 the MBEC office which is located on the 4th floor of the Mississauga Central Library, is temporarily not open to the public. However the MBEC team continues to be available to serve you by telephone or email. Feel free to contact a member of the MBEC team by calling 905 615-4460, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit MBEC online at www.mississauga.ca/mbec
